Community engagement on rural transport: to hear from children, young people and families

Further to community engagement on transport needs, challenges and solutions across rural communities in Perth & Kinross earlier this year, a Rural Transport Futures team are returning to Aberfeldy and Pitlochry to work with local groups and organisations, to hear more about local transport needs, challenges and solutions for children, young people and families in Highland Perthshire; followed by a focus on health and transport next month. 

Community drop in engagement sessions will start next Wednesday (21 August 2024) and continue into September, at Breadalbane Community Library and Pitlochry Community Library - open to all who would like to contribute.

This work has been extended to hear more from younger people across the community and then to focus on health and transport challenges, in collaboration with Tay Valley Connections, Perth & Kinross Council and partners involved in the Innovate UK project.
