Primary 2

In P2 this week we were making crispy cakes. We were learning to follow a simple recipe and we enjoyed getting to measure, melt and mix the ingredients up. We then got to take the cakes home and eat them at home hence why we've got all of our home stuff on in the picture.

'We have been learning about Victorian food in our topic this week, we looked at the different classes and what they ate in the Victorian times. Then we learned how to prepare some food ourselves, we chopped up peppers, cucumbers and carrots and ate them as a healthy snack!'

'We were lucky enough to have a special visitor to teach us all about Lunar New Year. We learned how to say Happy New Year in Chinese, played a Chinese instrument and made our own lanterns. Then we got to take part in a mini lantern parade to Chinese music.'

P2 had a great time celebrating in term 2 at the Christmas party, lots of dancing and games in our festive outfits.
